Well reasoned argument by Daniel whereas gerard1979, you seem to have missed the point.... teams lose from winning positions for the very reasons Daniel has outlined, and teams like Man Utd win because they press home the advantage

Daniel you have a very simplistic view of the football if you think simply having more attackers on means you will have more possession and then are less likely to concede.Mourinho turned Chelsea into a clean sheet machine and won numerous games by bringing on defensive players and protecting a one goal lead.
