Definitely a fair appraisal. Having to disguise an audible laugh as a sneeze when on the bus having just read "He's well smacked that one Adrian!" leaves me eagerly anticipating a piece on Ian Wright. A review of Roy Keane would also be fascinating (but for very different reasons).

@trumpton, I'm pretty sure it's meant as a signal for producers & crew to tell them when the ads are coming. It's weird seeing it on air: You start waiting for the person talking to quickly wrap it up. Nobody else has it (Sky, BT, etc)...yeah, it's not supposed to be there.

Tk421 - that little black and white stripe in the corner before ads has been a staple for over 30 years (which is as long as I can remember). I don't think it's something which is meant to be hidden.

Used to annoy the f**k out of me on MOTD2 when a pundit was talking he would just look down at his cards on the sofa and nod. His only talent is being in a presenting job this long. At a push, his second talent would be his ability to have played hide the sausage with Catherine Tate.

Seem's Chiles has tamed that particular leopard and now is good friends with Keane. The two went to see Cork play in last years hurling semi final match. Well done Adrain, just dont go near him when he's eating.

I

may well get slated by other United fans for this, but out of the three contenders, I'd far prefer Liverpool to win the title. Yes some elements of their fanbase can be a bit OTT, yes they're our biggest rivals and yes it will make our poor season feel even more like the end of an era (Fergie's gone, Liverpool are back on top). However I just have to applaud Brendan Rodgers and the way he's turned Liverpool around in just a couple of seasons. It...

ooray! We are all excited now, we beat a very mediocre team! With all due respect to WHU supporters, not winning that game shouldn't even be a consideration. This is the problem, there is no winning mentality at the Emirates - we're all congratulating ourselves beating a team that we have a winning record against.

I

s this meant to be an aspiration for United supporters? Moyes mediocrity strikes again. I see the Bayern boys don't want to sign for him, and his reputation amongst the senior European coaches make other key signings unlikely.
