Can you get Degsy to do one of these too please? I've missed him over the summer

I am happy to finally see Boro get some recognition. I am usually quite the pessimist when it comes to Boro but this summer is different, I haven't had this kind of optimism since the Premier League glory days. Subtly the club have built an impressive structure, led by rejuvenated ambitious owner Steve Gibson and the highly impressive Aitor Karanka. The project has been going on since November and this summer its taken full swing. A lot of other teams fans have over-looked us but this is a highly underrated team, I personally got on the Boro top 6 odds at 9/2, now they are as short 2/1 so the bookies have clued up. We have a defence, that under Karanka has kept 15 clean sheets in 30 games, we have an array of midfield depth and talent, two terrorising wingers (Adomah and Carayol - albeit Carayol is out until Christmas) and a striker that Karanka has earmarked as perfect for the 4-2-3-1 (Kike), his 24 Segunda goals last year and the close to £3 million outlay certainly suggests he has what it takes. I'm excited, the players are excited, the project is inviting. Recently Huddersfield fans wondered why their player of the year Adam Clayton decided to join Boro over Brighton, for me, one visit to our state-of-the-art training complex and a conversation with Karanka was all it probably took.

hump3, at least you got one mention. By the way, nice to see only one team is getting relegated this year. Really takes the pressure off.

Probably the worse thing about relegation is having to change the team's shirt lettering and numbers to that horrible typeface. That's when reality really hits I think.

"Bournemouth, Ipswich, Brighton and Reading, I'm sorry, this is the only mention you are getting." That's still one more mention than Huddersfield! - Oh Editor, just checked and that is right. No mention of Huddersfield whatsoever. That is less mention than Ipswich, (which I pointed out below doesnt bother me). How did that happen?, WHO SIGNED THIS OFF?. For Shame. Mind blown.

"Bournemouth, Ipswich, Brighton and Reading, I'm sorry, this is the only mention you are getting." That's still one more mention than Huddersfield! Same pattern for most season previews though, and actually it's encouraging to no longer be automatically placed among the "strugglers". People speak disparagingly about "mid-table mediocrity", but when you're not that long back in a higher division, there's nothing "mediocre" about a bit of stability. One thing's for sure, there'll be another surprise. Last year it was Burnley's promotion, the year before that Wolves being relegated. I have a feeling the surprise will come from Leeds, but they could just as easily sneak up through the playoffs as implode and get relegated to League One.

As this surprisingly forensic post says here http://cravencottagenewsround.wordpress.com/2014/07/29/shaun-hutchinson-wont-thank-me-for-this/ - Fulham were deceptively bad last year, suggesting that Magath has an even bigger job than expected in turning things around. I'm not saying he won't, just that 11/1 is actually (probably) about right.

The guy at Leeds seems so very bad that knowing their luck, it'll turn out to be an absolute masterstroke and they'll be 30 points clear by Christmas.
