Hump. Show me in your post where you were commenting on what happened in the FA Cup then? Nothing is there, you were just trolling, as per usual, just can't help yourself. And go and read my oiginal post again, it wasnt about a plastic being somebody who watches more than one team, I was refering to the fact that Synergy was a United fan and his friends were Chelsea fans, so that meant to me that it meant a load of Northerners followed a southern team or a southerner followed a (very successful) nothern team - plastic. As it turns out Synergy isnt from these shores, but probably has supported United since, hmm lets see...the mid 90's?? So Hump, when half term finishes and you are back in class, learn to read s l o w l y and you might actually grasp the point of what is written in front of you..on the other hand, keep trolling boy, its what you do best after all.

@ Grimupnorth.10 conclusions from the FA cup is a Chelsea story now? Dear me, when you say you watch nothing but Chelsea you mean it. However, you clearly are erudite enough on football to accuse others of being plastic for watching other teams and other matches. I assume they hand out crib sheets on everything Chelsea fans need to know about the wider game on A4 sheets of paper at Stamford Bridge. Which one is best, the RAFAOUT one, or the one with PTO on both sides?

@NumptyHump3. You havent trolled on a Chelsea story for a little while, welcome back, thought something may have happened to you, seems not thankfully *cough*! You actually want an apology from me for not being that into watching football as neutral? With the exception of cup finals and big European games, I dont watch football unless its Chelsea (and you can chuck England friendlies in there too) , its no big deal, try and get over it. And no, I'm not pwopper Chelsea because I dont have a speech impediment, as for Tattoos, it is much like yourself and amusing repartee.....I don't have any.

@Synergy. Not sure how you can blame Lampard for under performing on the pitch for AVB when his games were cherry picked and more often than not he was on the bench. As for the others you mention. Grim up North's comment sums it up pretty much. He came in and with the exception of Petr Cech, made examples of them, ie dropping them, playing players out of position, benching key in form players. Adapting to a certain playing style is one thing, singling out all the on pitch leaders for the sake of your own ego is a sure fire way to lose the dressing room in a matter of months.....and he did. In my wisdom of 80 years (humouring you) even I can see that. As for Scolari, oh please, the guy was so far out his depth he was drowning in the dug out, institutionalised by the decade and then some of International football management. Point proven that he never managed a top club side again, and was soon back in the safe haven of part time work managing Brazil. The only managers I have regret of losing are Jose (obviously) and Ancellotti, to a certain degree Robbie, but that is more emotional, he was and is a legend after what he did as a player and a coach for Chelsea, but the owner was probably backed into a corner somewhat to hire him full time after Munich, on balance a young coach with a bright future with things to learn still.

Warnock was never right for Leeds despite it appearing to be the ideal partnership to lazy journalists & press alike. Grayson should still be there. Warnock has shipped out some decent footballers and while he may not have had a choice on some departures their replacements seem pure Warnock. A team of cloggers, kickers and moaners has emerged without an ounce of guile, style or panache. And alas, the Championship this season, while seeming weaker than previous seasons is the place where this Leeds team deserve to be.

How long did AVB get at Chelsea, what, half a season if that. That is no where near enough time to implement a managers style on a team. AVB was obviously forced out because his face didn't fit in with the old guard, Terry and Lampard knew they were going to be gradually phased out and kicked up a fuss, like taking a toy from a kid, the kid screams. @Grimupnorth, you suggest that watching other teams other than just your own makes you plastic? What kind of nonsense is that? You only ever watch Chelsea?, congratulations, i would sooner watch my team when they are on, and watch anything else if its football if nothing else is on, but to only watch Chelsea. I guess that makes you "pwopper pwopper Chelse like" may i enquire, which tattoos did you get first, Love/Hate on the knuckles, or Mom on your shoulder?

Wow, talk about an embarrassing typo...was supposed to be "lose".

Well I am not from England, so do watch games on the telly or at a local pub with friends. Given the term plastic is tossed around for anyone who wasn't born at or around the club, feel free to call me what you like, it doesn't bother me.

The old guard at Chelsea have managed to get a bunch of manager sacked, the most obvious one being Scolari who came in and tried to change the playing style, they quit on him and he was gone and the latest being AVB.

@dixon&durie> Your right players under performing for a manager can't get a manager fired. I guess at a so called age of 14 (humoring you), I can figure that out, but at the ripe age of 80, such an easy concept, seems beyond you.

Synergy - You are pure comedy! They got rid of a manager because 'Fat' Frank didnt like the style of midfield play, but now they won't give the same 'Fat' Frank a new contract, yes he much hold so much sway at the club it seems, that he can't get paid! Judging from your childish name calling in your post I am guessing you are 14 years old?

@Synergy - You always root for them to love? huh? So you are a United fan, but have lots of fans who support Chelsea, I can smell plastic (either you or your 'friends') The fact you watch a team who you obviously dont like very much just supports the argument that you are plastic little bitter, you do well to travel around the country watching both teams though...or are we talking about from the comfort of your mums front room watching sky sports?? I have plenty of mates who support Arsenal and Spurs, the only time I watch them though is when they play Chelsea... As for AVB, I wish him all the luck in the world at Spurs, nice guy but he made some bad mistakes at Chelsea and paid for them. Mistakes that he admitted to aswell, he came in and p*ssed up the proverbial tree to mark his territory and went about dropping Ashley Cole, Lampard etc..when these players were vital to the transistion period that was about to happen, he tried to change everything overnight, simple as that. And who are these other managers that Terry has got sacked because he didnt like the playing style?? I am dying to know....

@Grimupnorth> Watch plenty of Chelsea games on account of my close friends being Chelsea fans. While I always root for them to love, after United, Chelsea are the team whose games I have watched the most (this season after a long time its been fun to watch them). Here is my question. Who exactly were these centre halves that lack pace? Both Sideshow Bob and Ivanovic are fast and Cahill isn't that slow either. Only snail paced centre half you guys have is Coach Terry.

AVBs midfield pressing game would also have been fantastic for this current athletic Chelsea squad, for whome he was designing it, however it didn't suit Fat Frank.

The fact is JT, Fat Frank and co have got a bunch of managers fired whenever they tried to implement a system that doesn't suit the old guard and AVB was no different.

AVB made errors but so does every coach. The main issue is the old guard just didn't like his style of play and hence got rid of him.
