Pringle: Earns boss's praise

Pringle, 23, has been a virtual ever-present for Evans this season, scoring six goals in 27 appearances, including the first early in the first half in Tuesday night's second-round replay at County.

"It was a great strike," said Evans of Pringle's opening goal at Meadow Lane. "But he's capable of that isn't he? He was poor on Saturday, so we took him off, but we took him off with a view to having him fresh for this game.

"I thought the energy in the team was great, people know we have good players, but we have worked hard on the training ground and when we work as hard as that we will always be in games."
