Newcastle v Manchester City

Liverpool v Aston Villa
I've changed my opinion of Liverpool in recent weeks and while I have stopped short of getting a Liver Bird tattoo on my testicles I do fancy them to roll over Villa here. Three wins on the bounce and with 'El Pistolero' back from suspension they look good things to me at Anfield.

Manchester United v Sunderland
Sunderland's win over Reading in the week merely papered over the cracks. They are still a poor side who struggle to score goals and who are heading for the Championship unless they box clever in the transfer window. Not for nothing then are they 16/1 shots to win at Old Trafford. The Red Devils should buzzing ahead of this one after their dramatic win at the Ethiad last week. Wayne Rooney looks in the zone and Robin van Persie has continued last season's extraordinary goalscoring form. So to paraphrase the incomparable Jasper Beardly 'Sunderland against Manchester United? That's a paddlin'.

Norwich v Wigan
Coupon-wise the Canaries let me down by losing to Villa in the week but I am more than happy to give them a chance to redeem themselves here. Tuesday's debacle aside they have lost just once at home all season (beating Manchester United among others at Carrow Road) and this Wigan side are not great travellers.

QPR v Fulham
The wait for a Premier League win goes on for QPR and Harry Redknapp will be hoping it ends this weekend in this London derby that could produce goals. Incidentally is there anyone in the public eye who gives more interviews from the driving seat of his car than old 'Arry Redders? The perfect scenario on Sunday then is Sky Sports News catching a bleary eyed Redknapp driving out of a training facility in a bling-ed up 4X4, asking him for comments about the Rs' fantastic win over Fulham, achieved by the odd goal in five.

Stoke City v Everton
Stoke will have their backers this weekend given their imperious home form. However I am not completely sold on them. A bet that does catch my eye however is Marouane Fellaini to score a brace or better in this one at a whopping 20/1. The mush looks like he should be in The Strokes but thankfully music's loss is football's gain. He was voted Player of the Month for November having scored four goals in five Premier League matches and he has been dancing to a different beat all season.

Tottenham v Swansea
Anyone who saw the Swans' League Cup quarter-final in the week will concur that Laudrup's mob were out-played for long spells against Middlesbrough, and if they turn up in the same mood here, well that's a paddlin'. AVB has finally started to win over the white half of North London and by close of business on the Sabbath Spurs could find themselves as high as fourth. I think they'll get the win, but 8/13 quotes don't really float my boat so I'll be mostly backing 'Both Teams To Score'.

West Brom v West Ham
I'll level with you. I am genuinely stuck on this one. Too many imponderables, too little time. So let's leave it. Between you and me, however, I have heard a rumour that Wills and Kate will be calling their first born Albert, should it come out as a geezer. Coral are 50/1 currently. Remember where you heard it first (winks conspiratorially).
