Nick, for once you have the tactics bang on. You need to go head to head with Bayern, and pose them the same difficulties they pose you. With Walcott down the middle and two 'wingers' who can score, plus some strength in the middle, the Germans wont get it all their own way. Will make for an interesting game!

Pretty certain we'll line up as suggested in the last point. We seem to favour the four man midfield for away games and tougher home games (it's been really effective away at Sunderland and at home to Swansea in the Cup this season). That will help us try to control possession too. Though I fancy Ramsey will play ahead of Diaby. Arteta the sitter, Ramsey the runner, Wilshere ahead of them and Santi drifting in from wide. Only thing is that puts a hell of a lot of pressure on Arsenal's full backs, which is why Sagna has suffered (he was comfortably man of the match at Sunderland, playing freakishly well at CB, which shows that he's still an outstanding defender, he's just been asked to play a superhuman role lately). I fear we might suffer from not having a specialist left back though, particularly given how good Bayern's right hand side is.

christ, my bad haha. Also agree with the suggested formation. Podolski-Walcott-Carzola with Wilshere behind maybe our best option.

I always fancy Arsenal's chances against big European opposition; they just seem to raise their game when they're underdogs. Their biggest problem will be if they come up against a lesser-known side whom they underestimate. (Or Man Utd.)
