Anyone find it slightly amusing that Swansea took this trophy after previous holders Liverpool after Brendan Rodgers switched clubs? Reminds me a bit of Ibrahimovic and his Champions League luck.

Was at the match, and just want to give props to the Bradford fans who, after realising the gig was up at about the sixtieth minute, preceded to turn their end into flag-waving pandemonium for the next half an hour . . In hindsight, and though it does denigrate Bradford's achievement a bit, albeit hardly, in Wigan, Villa and Arsenal they came up against 3 EPL teams who, for a variety of reasons, were in bad shape. Swansea showed what happened when they met an EPL team in great shape - sometimes during the final when a Bradford player got the ball players like Hernandez and de Guzman didn't even bother to tackle them, they simply walked up and rolled the ball away with their studs. Michu, by the by - newsflash - is genuine quality. There's something of Ruud van Nistelrooy in the way he shoots. Last but not least, the sound of Swansea fans singing Land of My Fathers will stay with me forever.

@paulious - what? at what point where you reading this article and thought "hah, I can get a dig in about Liverpool here!" - the mind boggles. I dont really have to say anything about the SPL though, we've all seen it and it is far from pretty...

"It's impossible not to love this team & their manager" except perhaps for some of the Bradford fans. I really do feel for them, but the gap between the two teams was very evident.
