Interesting stat on Nani seeing how little he has played this season! He really is worth keeping at United then eh ...

It's interesting that United last lost game with Rio and Vidic at the back in May 2011. But that the run of being undefeated in only 11 games long. It goes to highlight that they simply haven't played together enough since, mainly due to injury. The mind does boggle what might have been acheived otherwise has they been fit.

@ Editor - I sent a further comment saying that I was sure that numbers and stats were based on a whole season (or what has been played so far). I was unaware that you didn't take into account weekends where teams play. Guess you've missed that comment or didn't want to publish it?

We only ever cover the teams who have played that weekend as many of the stats are game-based. We don't make an exception for Liverpool.

"Manchester United last lost a PL game started by both Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand in May 2011 v Arsenal. They are unbeaten in their last 11 PL games started together." So what you are saying yes they are good but they hardly ever play together so Man Utd get by just fine without them playing together?

Well that's kinda stupid that u didn't consider Liverpool and Swansea, considering their game was the 27th PL fixture they've played, just like the other teams this weekend

We always do the teams who have played Premier League football that weekend. Sorry for not making a special case for your club.

zmc (Manchester United) says...

@uncle-muller - F365 wants Liverpool fans to get used to the idea of playing in the second tier and hence not getting any attention - or maybe, just maybe Liverpool didn't play this past weekend?

Good grief! We must be that bad now we don't get a mentoin in the Numbers and Stats page! Still, better than constantly reading about how many shots Suarez has had, how few assists Downing has contributed, etc...

'That bad' or you didn't play in the Premier League this weekend.

t the start of the season, after the RVP transfer, I confidently claimed that Arsenal would finish above United. I now regret it immensely.

aniel Storey generally did very well, going against the City won it last year so they're bound to win it this time grain. As for John Nicholson, I wouldn't trust him to predict correctly what day of the week it will be tomorrow.
