WhoScored's Team Of The World Cup

Who would ever have thought that Ron Vlaar would feature in that line-up? He's one of three Dutchies but there's only one German despite their status as favourites...

"World's greatest natural footballing talent?" I won't even speculate as to what on earth that's supposed to mean, but I will say that to describe someone who spent their early youth receiving growth-hormone treatment as "natural" is hilarious.

There's only one German because they're Germans. That is all.

Wow Masmaz, you picked Muller as top scorer? How on earth did you ever predict such an outlandish possibility?! Degsy should be worried that there's a new tip-slinger in town...

This lineup is a joke. Cuadrado and Toni Kroos should certainly be in and Messi and Neymar are no better that van Persie, E. Valencia and Benzema to name a few. Even Schuerrle has been better than these two... And don't let me get started with all the Mats Hummelses...

This team is a joke and proves the old adage "lies, damn lies and statistics". Tim Howard in goal over Neuer? Two players whose teams never made it out of the group stages? de Vriij over Mats Hummels? Do f365 have shares in WhoScored.com? Pathetic.

Wtf? Zabaleta, Mascherano, Kroos, Guardado, Ochoa, Costa Rica's back 7. These lists are tough. BTW my comment on Degsy's piece where I pick Muller as golden boot winner was never published.

heyremind me of Utd's treble winning side. Swashbuckling and risk prone. We ha Jaap Stam to paper over the cracks at the back though. Not sure they have their Jaap yet.

he solution is to not feel sorry for any of Jabba, Gold or Sullivan. They're all deeply unpleasant and all deserve each other. If only West Ham would sign Barton and Suarez then no one would ever need to despise any other club.
