MK Dons have confirmed that the League One club will host Barclays Premier League outfit Fulham in a pre-season friendly this summer.

Dons: Set to play Cottagers

Martin Jol's side will visit stadium:mk on August 7, just four days after the home friendly against Norwich, and the match will kick-off at 7.45pm.

Fulham finished last season in ninth place, just missing out on a European spot.

Potential stars who could be on show against the Dons, including USA international Clint Dempsey, who scored an 17 goals last season, and winger Damien Duff, who represented the Republic of Ireland at Euro 2012, where he won his 100th cap.

The friendly comes four days before the Dons' first competitive fixture of the new campaign against Cheltenham in the Capital One Cup.
