Jores Okore: Reported Fulham target is expected to remain in Denmark

The Ivorian-born Danish centre-back has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs including Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and more recently Fulham.

With Brede Hangeland out of contract in the summer and Aaron Hughes now 33, Cottagers boss Martin Jol is looking freshen up his defensive options.

But Okore, 20, will now not be leaving his homeland on transfer deadline day, according to his agent Nicola Juric.

He told sporten.dk: "Nothing will happen for Jores. There has been a lot of talk and there were some offers but nothing that was interesting enough.

"But that is okay. We are not in a hurry. As we have told all interested clubs, it has to be the right move for him if he is to leave Nordsjaelland."
