Accies announced the signing of the 30-year-old as they prepare for their Scottish Premiership campaign.

Imrie played with Accies for two years during their most recent spell in the top flight, scoring 10 goals in 80 appearances.

He left for St Mirren in 2012 and spent last season at Morton, scoring his final two goals for the Greenock club in a 10-2 defeat by Accies on the final day of the season.
