Defender Kevin McHattie, 19, who has started 10 times for the first team this season, has committed himself until 2015.

Scotland U19 goalkeeper Jack Hamilton - currently on loan at Forfar Athletic - has signed a year's extension until 2014.

Scotland U21 star Dale Carrick, who played in the Europa League against Liverpool this season - has signed a new deal which keeps him at Tynecastle until 2014.

Meanwhile, Raith Rovers have extended David Smith's loan spell for a further month.
