It has been claimed that the businesswoman wants to replace Locke at Tynecastle with Craig Levein, but the Jambos manager remains calm despite the doubt cast over his position, and believes the club's future is more important than his own.

The Edinburgh outfit currently sit bottom of the Scottish Premiership table, having endured a traumatic season in which they were on the verge of administration. They look destined for relegation to the Championship, with a current points tally of six.

Speaking to the Daily Record, Locke said: "I am not in a hurry to sort things out. The most important thing for me is that Hearts survive. When I sat down on that bleak day last June, it was a horrible experience being a Hearts supporter. There was a serious chance this club wouldn't be here.

"All I have tried to concentrate on all along on has been the team, but also that the club survives. And certainly over the last few weeks it has started to look more likely that will be the case.

"It will hopefully give us a bit of stability. The players see that Ann is going to come in and take the club forward and that's a great thing for them as well. They know who the new owner is going to be.

"You would hope there will be regular contact but there is still a bit to go in Lithuania so it is important we don't get too carried away. But if things can sort themselves out over there, then hopefully the club has a really bright future."

ow is the time for Allardyce to finally get a chance at a big club please. He is likely to have a number of great offers for his services this summer, but who will he choose? Will it be Liverpool, Real Madrid, Dortmund or Man City?
