The Terriers have adapted to life well in the Championship following their promotion last season and sit just outside the play-offs after 15 games ahead of this weekend's clash at Oakwell.

In contrast, the Reds, now in their seventh season in the second tier, are struggling at the wrong end of the table following five defeats out of seven games, but Hill insists the two Yorkshire clubs are not comparable.

"I'm not surprised by Huddersfield's start," Hill said. "Just look at who they have recruited and it will give some sort of indication to their budget.

"You don't have to be a mathematician when you consider the players they have brought in.

"It's like putting a Mini and a Rolls Royce on a starting grid. The Mini might win over a sprint but the Championship isn't a sprint."

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
