Beckford came off the bench at Molineux and netted a brace as Huddersfield moved three points clear of the Championship relegation zone.

Robins said: "You can't ask anymore from him and that from him is what you expect. That is him. You got a cameo there of why he played in the Premier League.

"He is Premier League quality and he has Premier League talent. What is frustrating for me at the moment is that I want to see that more often.

"I really want to see him performing like that. I think he owes that to himself, his family and the supporters who are paying money to watch him.

"It is a shame if he doesn't perform like that. He is an outstanding talent. We saw that against Wolves and hopefully we can get that out of him for the rest of the season. He was absolutely superb."
