Murphy is out of contract at the end of this month and is set to leave Coventry for pastures new.

Huddersfield have already held talks with Murphy and they are keen to bring the former Tranmere and West Brom keeper to the John Smith's Stadium.

Murphy has been weighing up his options with a number of clubs interested in his services, but the 32-year-old is expected to finalise his future soon

Huddersfield are in the market for a new keeper after Ian Bennett left the club this summer and Murphy will provide competition and cover for current No.1 Alex Smithies.
