Ahmed Elmohamady: Away with Egypt

Egyptian trio Ahmed Elmohamady, Gedo and Ahmed Fathi, Republic of Ireland midfielder Robbie Brady, Northern Ireland defender Alex Bruce and Scotland striker George Boyd are all involved in the latest round of World Cup qualifiers.

Elmohamady, Gedo and Fathi have been included in the Egypt squad for homes games against Swaziland (Friday) and Zimbabwe (Tuesday), while Brady is hoping to add to his five appearances for the Republic of Ireland when they travel to Sweden (Friday) before returning to Dublin to play Austria four days later.

Tigers defender Alex Bruce, who won his first cap for Northern Ireland against Malta on last month, could line up against Russia (Friday) and then Israel (Tuesday), both in Belfast, and Boyd is hoping to win his first full international cap for Scotland against Wales at Hampden Park on Friday before travelling with Gordon Strachan's squad to face Serbia next Tuesday.
