Tom Huddlestone: Loving life with the Tigers

Huddlestone last played for the Three Lions nearly a year ago, in the 4-2 friendly defeat away to Sweden last November.

Since then, a summer switch from Tottenham to Hull and regular football has re-ignited his career and Bruce has backed the midfielder to get back on England boss Roy Hodgson's radar if he keeps performing well.

Bruce told the Daily Telegraph: "It's scary how good he is. If there's a better passer of the ball... I don't think there can be.

"He has great players ahead of him: the Gerrards and Lampards of this world and the Wilsheres.

"But there's no reason playing week in, week out and performing like he has been doing, why he can't."
