The Tigers are currently 10th in the Premier League, thanks in part to an unbeaten record at the KC Stadium, where they have conceded just one goal so far this term.
And Elmohamady, who has started all 10 of Hull's league games, is full of praise for the manager who initially brought him to Sunderland in 2010.
"I like Hull very much, especially the gaffer," enthused the 26-year-old. "Steve Bruce is the one for me - he is a great man and really good manager.
"Steve means everything to me here in England. He brought me to Sunderland and when he went to Hull I went with him.
"I am proud to work with this manager and I like him as he trusts me and is fantastic for me.
"He gives me good advice and a lot of confidence. He speaks to the players all the time about our lives outside of football - asking about our personal situations and checking on our families.
"And when it comes to the football, he is the best with that, too. He has experience in the Premier League and the players he has brought for the club are from the top level."
Having helped the Tigers earn promotion last season, Elmohamady made his loan move to the KC Stadium a permanent one after being offloaded by Sunderland.
With his side enjoying their return to the top flight so far, it is a move that the player has no regrets about as he looks to help maintain his side's current form.
He added, "It's an exciting place to be and we are going to have a good season. Staying up is the first priority, but honestly I think we can finish in the top 10."
