The Tigers travel to The Hawthorns on Saturday, which is the Baggies' first match since the sacking of manager Steve Clarke.

Hull striker Danny Graham refused to celebrate after scoring against former team Swansea, however Koren admits he will be delighted if he scores on his first visit to West Brom since leaving three years ago.

He told the Mirror: "I love scoring goals - I even celebrate when I do it in training!

"So I think, yes, I will celebrate if I score against my old team in a Premier League match that's important.

"But, if it happens, I want the people at West Brom to know I mean no offence to anybody there."

After helping guide West Brom to promotion in 2010, the Slovenia international held special praise for the Albion fans.

"I had a really good stay there, and the fans were great and very supportive to me.

"But my life and career moved on, and I'm happy where I am and I have a good relationship with the supporters at Hull," he added.

"I don't know what kind of reception I'll get from the crowd there, but I am not expecting any problems."

resumably, you wanted to keep the version of Downing that was never seen at Anfield. The one that another manager has managed to re-create. The one you passed over.

he uber commercialisation of the 90s has led to the point where this overly familar, try hard, jolly hockey sticks type fronts up a major football match on a weekly basis. Unlike the great presenters of yesteryear, I doubt he would even recognise the scent of Brut.
