Terry Butcher: Pleased with his players

Caley Thistle leapfrogged their derby rivals into third place in the SPL table thanks to Andrew Shinnie's fifth minute opener and Billy McKay's 59th minute spot-kick.

County manager Adams was left fuming at the award of the penalty, insisting Mihael Kovacevic had won the ball when challenging Charlie Taylor inside the 18-yard box.

However, Butcher pointed to a similar incident in the previous Highland derby two weeks ago

He said: "We felt we should have had a penalty at Victoria Park, so maybe justice has evened itself out.

"Derek Adams didn't think it was a penalty, but I think the one two weeks ago was.

"I'm very pleased with the players. We're not quite there yet in terms of top six, but we're just about there, so I'm delighted."

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
