Kilmarnock's visit to Celtic Park has been moved back to Wednesday, 29 January, meaning Neil Lennon's team will not play between 5 and 18 January.

A statement from the league read: "The Scottish Premiership match between Celtic and Kilmarnock, scheduled for Saturday January 11, has been rearranged for Wednesday January 29 after the SPFL board agreed to a request from Celtic."

Premiership clubs agreed in June that they would be able to postpone games on January 11 or 18, in the absence of a winter break.

Meanwhile, first team coach Danny McGrain felt the team produced a professional display in their 7-0 rout of Hearts at Tynecastle on Sunday.

Celtic were facing a potentially hazardous fourth-round tie following their exit from the Champions League on Tuesday, but McGrain was impressed by the application of the players.

McGrain said: "Everything just seemed to go right, everything was well-oiled and everyone seemed to be on the same wavelength, playing the ball and keeping the ball. It was just a great 90 minutes.

"The manager was happy with the first 45 minutes. Sometimes the tempo can drop a bit in the second half but we picked it up again and scored two good goals.

"Hearts could not keep pace with us and we just ran over them."

ou can't blame De Gea for wanting to leave, he has enough to do in front of goal as it is as well as taking on the role of Man Utd's version of Derek Acorah in trying to contact and organise a defence that isn't there.

f you want to take six points off Arsenal, then that's a great strike force. Can't imagine either of them showing much for the rest of the season though...
