Uruguay defender Martin Caceres has signed a permanent deal with Serie A champions Juventus, tying him to the Turin giants until 2016.
The 25-year-old joined the Biancaneri during the January transfer window for a second loan spell from Spanish outfit Sevilla and has done enough to impress head coach Antonio Conte.
The former Barcelona player penned a four-year contract with the Italian club in a deal reportedly worth £6.5million.
Caceres first signed for the club on a season-long loan deal from Barcelona in August 2009, but was sidelined by injury.
When the central defender returned to Catalonia, he was immediately shipped ut on loan to Sevilla before eventually making the move permanent.
Caceres failed to impress at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and he was soon icked up by Juventus where he produced a number of high quality erformances in his second spell to earn a deal.
