Bruno Labbadia: Unhappy with the media

Stuttgart boss Bruno Labbadia hit back at claims he is "clueless" and admitted he had run out of patience after his side once again failed to win at home on Sunday.

A 2-2 draw against Bayer Leverkusen means Stuttgart have picked up just two points in four games at home, but Labbadia said his side's efforts are not being recognised.

Labbadia's substitution of Raphael Holzhauser was booed, but he revealed that the Austrian was injured and his decision had been forced on him.

"I feel a certain boundary has been reached here," he said. "I cannot accept certain things when the coach is made out to be the biggest idiot, as if he were clueless."

Labbadia attacked the media for influencing the fans.

"They are being fed with untruths," he added.

"Holzhauser would not even be at Stuttgart if I had not vetoed a transfer.

"The coach cannot be made out to be the biggest rubbish bin of them all.

"There is no surprise that there is a new coach in Stuttgart every few months and you have got to ask yourself as a Bundesliga coach if you want to go this difficult way or say 'that's enough'.

"My patience has reached its limit.

"I know that you (the media) are going to take it personally again, but I had to make this clear now".

Labbadia received the backing of his club's director of sport Fredi Bobic.

"He has every right to say it the way he did," Bobic said.
