Evans: In good form for Blades

Evans: In good form for Blades

Evans, 22, was overlooked by Speed for Saturday's 4-1 friendly win over Norway, despite the withdrawal of Reading's Simon Church, and went on to strike twice for the Blades in their 3-0 FA Cup win over Oxford.

Evans has now scored seven goals from as many starts for the Blades this season and Wilson told the club's official website: "Ched is a terrific striker of the ball, if you stick him in front of goal there must be a good chance he will hit the target and there is a fair chance it will be a goal.

"Ched's workrate also pleased me on Saturday; along with Cressy [Richard Cresswell], they were fantastic."

Wilson added: "I was surprised he wasn't drafted into the Wales squad when Church pulled out, but thankfully he was available to us and he must be close to an international place in the future."

bsolutely delighted for Chelsea, what a story. Particularly happy for Drogba to (possibly) sign off a career on such a high note. Wonder how the spurs fans are feeling tonight.

eah yeah, whatever fatty. Keep trying to talk down a competition you'll never play in. I bet you'll get relegated next season and claim the 38th game is more important than the CL final too.
