Powell: Could miss weekend clash

The England Under-18 striker missed Saturday's 1-0 win over Cheltenham due to tonsillitis and is currently on a course of antibiotics.

Davis told the club's official website: "Nick is still unwell. I was told that he was struggling late on Friday night and we were able to send the club doctor round to his house to see him and get him on antibiotics straight away, which was good.

"Hopefully, they will kick in and he has a chance of playing at the weekend. He hasn't returned to training yet and we would ideally like him to train again on Thursday if possible if he is to be considered.

"If he can train then and feels okay then he could travel with us to Torquay because he is a key player.

"We showed that we can cope without him against Cheltenham at the weekend but we would obviously prefer him to be with us."
