The Latics midfielder was taken to Bury General Hospital for a scan having received a heavy bang to his head, resulting in around seven minutes of stoppage time at Gigg Lane.

The Comoros Islands international was stretchered from the pitch and came around in the dressing room before being taken to hospital as a precautionary measure, where he was later given the all-clear and allowed to return home.
