Aaron Downes, Greg Fleming, Simon Ford, Dan Gray, Jimmy Juan, Jamie Lowry, Alex Mendy, Dean Morgan, Derek Niven and Gregor Robertson have all been told they will be not offered a new deal at the b2net Stadium, leaving just eight players under contract.

However, Sheridan has offered one-year deals to Scott Boden, Craig Clay, Tendayi Darikwa, Mark Randall, Danny Whitaker as he looks to shape a squad capable of repeating the 2010/11 League Two title-winning campaign.

Youngsters Jacob Hazel, Jack Waddle and Jonathan Wafula have all been offered first-year professional terms, while loanees Nick Ajose, Franck Moussa, Liam Ridehalgh and Josh Thompson have been packed off back to their parent clubs.
