James Berrett, Peter Murphy and Frank Simek have all indicated that they are ready to sign and now need to put pen to paper.

"With our three lads there is a need to get the agreements done, but there is no feeling of panic," Abbott told the club's official website.

"We've been away on holiday and things like that but sometimes you get to a stage where you are 99 per cent there and all you are left to do is to sit down face-to-face to get it finalised. I think they'll get resolved in the next two or three days.

"I'm in a position where I just want these agreements done and across the line so that they are all in, signed and ready to get on with pre-season.

"Like I say, I think they are almost done and I would be very disappointed if anything was to go wrong with any of them."
