Burton: On trial with Dons

Burton, who has spent the last two years playing for Gabala in Azerbaijan, was at pre-season training with the Dons on Tuesday morning.

The 35-year-old will train with Karl Robinson's squad for the next few days in the hope of earning a contract with the League One club.

Former Jamaica international Burton is perhaps best remembered for his time at Derby and Sheffield Wednesday, but he has also had spells at Portsmouth, Cardiff, Barnsley, Stoke, Walsall, Swindon, Brentford, Rotherham and Charlton.
