The 28-year-old has had tests and scans on the injury he picked up in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Stevenage.

Miller has now been advised to rest for the next few weeks and may have even require surgery on the problem should a surgeon decide it is necessary.

It comes as a huge blow to the Cumbrians, who saw their form noticeably dip when Miller was absent from the final stages of last season due to a groin problem.
