Wilson: Double injury setback

Wilson: Double injury setback

The defensive duo both limped out of last Saturday's 1-0 defeat at MK Dons and United went on to lose their first League One game of the season.

Although the prognosis is not too severe, they are unlikely to be fit for the visit of Stevenage on Saturday.

"They are struggling. We have got another 48 hours or so, but they are struggling and I'm not banking on them being fit for the game," Wilson said. "It's too early to say how long they will be out, it might be sooner rather than later, but they are struggling for Saturday.

"I don't think it is any coincidence that they have been in the team and we have had as many clean sheets as we have. So the dynamics of the team will change, but whoever comes in, it is an opportunity.

"In an ideal world we want our experienced players out there, but we aren't in that position."

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.

afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!

hat is arguably the least inspiring England I have ever seen. There is not a single name in that list that makes me think I might actually want to watch this team. Not a one.
