The result moved the Dons up to second place in the table, just three points behind League One leaders Tranmere.

Robinson's side began November eight points adrift of Rovers, but after four wins - including a 1-0 victory over Ronnie Moore's side - and a draw during the month they now are hot on the heels of the Wirral club.

"It has been a tremendous turnaround this month, especially after people doubted and questioned us after we only picked up six points from as many games in October," said Robinson.

"We were quite a distance behind Tranmere going into November and now we are only three points behind them. Don't forget we also ended Sheffield United's unbeaten run this month, the players deserve a lot of credit.

"There's going to be a lot of low points still to come but there are also going to be a lot more highs, so hopefully now we can go from strength to strength."
