The Magpies continue to set new club-record figures for unbeaten games on their travels, making it a score with Saturday's 1-1 draw at League Two side Rotherham in the FA Cup second round.

"It's something that we're very, very proud of," said Curle, who has yet to lose a fixture away from Meadow Lane since becoming manager in February.

"It's a fantastic achievement for everyone connected with the club," he told the official website following the draw at the New York Stadium.

"The level of commitment, application, desire and professionalism, but probably most of all the ability, that we're showing away from home is fantastic.

"It's excellent and we will hopefully bring that to our home games."

ah, Fergie is just having another pop at Rooney. He just wants to put him down whenever he gets a chance. Rooney is by far the best English player. Carrick is not far behind, mind. However, by elevating Carrick like that, Sir is having a dig at Wayne. Fergie is well-known for mind games like that. Good to see he's still feisty.
