Barker: Optimistic about victory

Town have gone seven League One matches without a victory following Saturday's 2-2 draw with Shrewsbury, and have slipped down to 10th in the table.

They face a tough December with games against Stevenage, Sheffield United, Portsmouth and Bournemouth, but Barker feels his side will get back on the winning trail sooner rather than later.

He said: "In those seven games we have had four draws and Yeovil mugged us here in the last minute.

"We know we can improve but I don't think we are far away from going on another good run."

Barker will be hoping top scorer Billy Clarke will be fit for Saturday's trip to Stevenage after he missed out against the Shrews with a hamstring injury.

t the start of the season, after the RVP transfer, I confidently claimed that Arsenal would finish above United. I now regret it immensely.

aniel Storey generally did very well, going against the City won it last year so they're bound to win it this time grain. As for John Nicholson, I wouldn't trust him to predict correctly what day of the week it will be tomorrow.
