The 28-year-old only moved to the County Ground on transfer deadline day in August, signing a six-month deal after leaving Premier League side Swansea.

However, he has struggled to make an impact so far this campaign, making just six first-team appearances for Paulo Di Canio's side.

With his contract up next month Bessone is keen to move away from the Robins in search of first-team football.

Sky Sports understands a number of League One and League Two sides have been monitoring Bessone's situation and are now ready to make a move for the former Leeds defender.
