Lewis Grabban: Bristol City deny reports linking them with Bournemouth striker

The Robins have been linked with Bournemouth forward Lewis Grabban as McInnes looks to increase the Championship stugglers' firepower.

The 24-year-old has netted 10 goals in League One for the Cherries this season after switching from Millwall in a £300,000 deal during the summer.

But the club tweeted: "Derek McInnes has rubbished media reports linking him with Bournemouth forward Lewis Grabban."

There have also been suggestions that City winger Martyn Woolford has asked for a transfer after falling out of the first-team picture in recent weeks.

However, a second tweet read: "Derek McInnes has also strongly denied rumours suggesting winger Martyn Woolford has asked for a transfer."

Woolford, 27, moved to Ashton Gate from Scunthorpe in January 2011 and has since made 57 appearances for the club and scored four goals.
