Hewitt: Short-term extension

Bury have extended the loan deals of Troy Hewitt and Tom Hopper.

QPR's Hewitt will remain at Gigg Lane until after the Shakers' clash with Sheffield United on January 22 while Leicester's Hopper has signed until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old arrived at Gigg Lane in October and has scored twice in 12 appearances.

The forward has made one senior appearance for Rangers - coming off the bench in a League Cup defeat to Rochdale in 2011 - before he had a brief loan spell at Dagenham.

Hopper has scored three goals in 23 appearances since arriving in September. His one senior appearance for Leicester came as a late substitute in last season's FA Cup.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Cameron Belford's seven day emergency loan to Accrington Stanley has been extended by a further week.
