The loan will begin on Friday with the former Manchester United striker training with his new teammates this week.

The 21-year-old, who helped the Shakers clinch promotion from the fourth tier with 13 goals in 32 appearances during a loan spell in 2010/11 from Manchester United, has spent the majority of this season on loan at Crawley.

Having scored three goals in 22 appearances for the Reds, he returned to London Road and appeared in Posh's 3-0 FA Cup third-round defeat to Norwich earlier this month.

Subject to Football League confirmation, Ajose will be available for Kevin Blackwell to select for his side's trip to Shrewsbury on Saturday.
