Jimmy Spencer: Suffers injury setback

The striker, who agreed a move to the Broadfield for the rest of the term last month, has gone back to Huddersfield without making a single appearance for the Red Devils because of a knee problem.

Barker told the club website: "Jimmy came down last week to train with the lads but the injury flared up again and after talking to Huddersfield and Jimmy we felt it best that he went back."

Barker may go back into the loan market in order to bolster his attack for the League One run-in.

He added: "We have a very busy schedule ahead of us even if we don't have any more problems with postponements.

"I am extremely happy with the squad we have but we are slightly light on numbers so bringing in another player is something we might have to consider."
