The 22-year-old, who has spent three previous loan spells in League One with MK Dons, boosts Gary Johnson's options in the final third.

Balanta, who can play on the left wing or up front, has made 25 appearances since making his QPR debut back in 2007 and has played 12 times in Yeovil's division in the current campaign for Karl Robinson's men.

The Glovers currently lie seventh in League One but only three points off the automatic promotion places and Balanta could be in line to make his debut against eighth-placed Walsall on Good Friday.

lassic management. Build them up and then knock them back. Raise expectations and then dampen them. Create a dynamic where by you demand the most from your team, but where the team are given room to manoeuvre unexpected or unwanted results. Classy work by Van Gaal, he really reminds me a lot of me. A smart cookie, make no doubt.
