Rovers have chosen a replacement for Brian Flynn, who led them to the League One title this season before stepping down to take a development role at the club.

Former Oldham boss Paul Dickov and ex-Portsmouth, Blackpool and Blackburn chief Michael Appleton have been heavily linked with the role.

A statement on Doncaster's website read: "Interviewing started last week with the four candidates meeting the club's owners and chief executive ahead of the appointment.

"It has now been confirmed that an official announcement will be made at 4pm on Monday (May 20)."

think he'll do quite well. My only reservation would be Kagawa, who had similar stats to Firmino in the bundesliga before he came, but time will tell.
