The 24-year old, who made his only appearance for Rovers last season in the final game against Bournemouth, joined the club from Wycombe last summer.

"Jason has really progressed over the last 12 months and I'm pleased he will be staying with us," manager Ronnie Moore told the club's official website.

"He has had to be really patient and watched a lot of games from the substitutes' bench, but when he got his chance against Bournemouth he showed everyone what he is capable of."

Moore added: "Hopefully Jason signing is just the start of things.

"We've been talking to a lot of players and agents over the last couple of months and with pre-season training not far away I expect clubs and players will start making decisions and there will be a lot more activity."

s it the same people that complain about Chelsea that complain about Mayweather? You should by now know what to expect from both, if you can't appreciate how good they are at nullifying their opponents then don't watch them.

do concede though, that getting rid of Luiz has made them less entertaining. In the same way that driving with both eyes open is less exciting, but probably a good idea.
