Captain Lewington, fellow defender Chicksen and goalkeeper McLoughlin are all set to be out of contract at the end of the month but the trio have been offered new deals.

They have yet to sign again but Dons boss Karl Robinson is confident with the way talks are progressing with the three players.

He told the club's official website: "Those three have had deals on the table for several months now and we're waiting to hear back.

"Sometimes these things can take a few hours, sometimes a lot longer, but I'm confident that we'll get all three signed for next season."
