The Istanbul giants have promised to field a strong team for the fixture so the likes of Didier Drogba, Emmanuel Eboue, Wesley Sneijder and Johan Elmander could be gracing the Greenhous Meadow.

The clash will take place on Saturday, July 13 with a 3pm kick-off.

Shrews secretary Jayne Bebb said: "We were looking for something special for the team and supporters to experience this pre-season and after a lot of behind-the-scenes negotiation we have landed this attractive fixture against the Champions League quarter-finalists of last season."

I

think all those names linked to United exits make sense. Kagawa has never really looked like hitting the form he had at Dortmund and Fellaini is radioactive after last season (even though I think he's been unfairly singled out for criticism). Nani and Anderson have had more than their fair share of chances so they are done, and Hernandez deserves better than warming a bench.
