The 22-year-old's rehabilitation from a hip injury will be helped by the Shrews but he will not play for Graham Turner's men again.

"Unfortunately Jermaine, through his agent, turned down the offer that we had made him," Turner told the club's official website.

"It looks as though he's going to be out for quite some time and we will be responsible for his medical well being, but unfortunately now as far as the relationship between Jermaine and the club, that's gone and Jermaine has departed.

"His contract finished at the end of June and so that's it."

I

think all those names linked to United exits make sense. Kagawa has never really looked like hitting the form he had at Dortmund and Fellaini is radioactive after last season (even though I think he's been unfairly singled out for criticism). Nani and Anderson have had more than their fair share of chances so they are done, and Hernandez deserves better than warming a bench.

e'll be off to Spurs (or better) in January and I don't blame him. Looking forward to re-signing Grant Holt as his replacement though.
