Rovers have already signed Ryan Lowe this summer, but Moore does not want to be left short in attack as he was last season when injuries and suspensions took their toll on a promotion campaign.

"We're hoping to do a bit of business with a striker on Monday, we're a long way down the line with that one," Moore said.

"I'd rather have too many strikers than too few like we had last year.

"It might be that we end up with five, we want to make sure we don't get caught like we did last season."
