The striker limped out of Saturday's 1-0 friendly defeat to Huddersfield with the problem and the Millers are keen to check the extent of the damage.

"He felt his hamstring a little bit so we brought him off as a precaution and now we'll just be able to see how it settles down overnight and assess him again in the morning," assistant Paul Raynor said.

"Hopefully it will be good news, but it's a bit of a concern when a player goes down clutching their hamstring like that."

The Millers went down to Martin Paterson's late goal at New York Stadium as their unbeaten start to pre-season came to an end.

h Daniel. I could spend hours on this subject putting the world to rights. You can even take a step back and ask why football fans (and society in general) have this need to know that something will happen before it actually does. There are times this important, when it comes to things like war, food production and natural disasters. A man you've never met changing his job? Not so much.
